As a Platform Engineer specialising in Identity and Access Management, you'll be at the forefront of modernising and securing our clients critical infrastructure platforms. You will provide technical leadership across identity solutions, drive cloud migration initiatives, and serve as a trusted Subject Matter Expert for business and technology stakeholders alike. This is a hands-on role where your technical depth and problem-solving capability will make a genuine impact.
- Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management platforms including Okta Identity Engine,
- CyberArk PVWA, Microsoft AD DS, and AWS Secrets Manager
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure performance, reliability, scalability, and security
- Serve as the Level 3 escalation point for critical and complex infrastructure incidents
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment and maintenance processes
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Participate in cloud migration activities, evaluating and recommending technologies to improve performance and reduce costs
- Develop and contribute to infrastructure platform roadmaps and technical documentation
- Share knowledge across technology teams and actively mentor and coach junior staff
- Ensure infrastructure solutions meet audit, security, and compliance requirements (including APRA/CPS234 standards)
What Experience You'll Bring - 2-5 years of hands-on experience in system administration, operations, and infrastructure support
- Practical experience with two or more of the following technologies: Okta Identity Engine, CyberArk PVWA, Microsoft AD DS, AWS Secrets Manager
- Strong knowledge of systems security, identity and access management principles, administration practices and policies
- Experience with systems automation, scheduling, and scripting
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tooling
- Ability to articulate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as New Relic or similar platforms (desirable)
- Knowledge of Windows Server or Linux Server administration (desirable)
- Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and tools such as ServiceNow (desirable)
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as CPS234 or ISO27002 (desirable)
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Associate, OKTA Professional, CyberArk Sentry, Microsoft Identity and
- Access Administrator, CompTIA, or CISSP (desirable)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (desirable)
